Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the EASY WAY application and automation services operated by StepAutomations (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By using the services or authorizing access to a connected account, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service description

StepAutomations provides automation services that may connect Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Meta services, messaging platforms, databases, artificial intelligence services, and other applications selected by the user.

The specific functions available depend on the workflow, permissions, and integrations configured for the user.

2. Authorization of connected accounts

You may be asked to authorize access to third-party accounts through OAuth or another authorization mechanism.

By granting access, you authorize StepAutomations to perform only the operations required by the workflow you requested or configured. These operations may include reading, creating, updating, organizing, moving, sharing, or deleting data.

You may revoke access at any time through the relevant third-party account settings. Revoking access may cause connected workflows to stop functioning.

3. User responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when configuring a service.
• Grant access only to accounts and data you are authorized to use.
• Review workflow behavior before using it with important or sensitive data.
• Maintain appropriate backups of important data.
• Protect your account credentials and access links.
• Comply with applicable laws and third-party platform policies.

You remain responsible for the content and data processed through workflows configured for you.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the services to:

• Violate applicable laws or third-party rights.
• Gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
• Distribute malware, spam, or deceptive content.
• Circumvent security or access controls.
• Process data without the necessary authorization or lawful basis.
• Interfere with the operation or security of the services.

We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, protect security, or comply with legal obligations.

5. Google and other third-party services

Connected services are operated by independent third parties and are governed by their own terms and policies.

Use of information received from Google APIs is subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

StepAutomations does not control the availability, functionality, pricing, or policies of third-party services.

6. AI-assisted functions

Some workflows may use artificial intelligence services to generate, classify, transform, summarize, or analyze content.

AI-generated results may contain errors or omissions. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them for legal, financial, medical, employment, safety-critical, or other high-impact decisions.

7. Availability and modifications

We aim to provide reliable services but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Workflows may be affected by:

• Third-party outages or API changes.
• Expired or revoked authorization.
• Rate limits and usage restrictions.
• Network or infrastructure failures.
• Changes made by the user or a connected service.

We may update or modify the services to maintain security, compatibility, or functionality.

8. Data and privacy

Our processing of personal information is described in the StepAutomations Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual property

StepAutomations retains rights to its software, workflow designs, documentation, branding, and other original materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

You retain ownership of your data and content. You grant us only the limited rights necessary to process that data and provide the requested services.

10. Disclaimer

The services are provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.

We do not guarantee that every automation or third-party integration will always operate without interruption, delay, data loss, or error.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, StepAutomations will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Termination

You may stop using the services and revoke connected-account access at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access when necessary to address abuse, security risks, non-payment where applicable, legal requirements, or material violations of these Terms.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when our services or legal obligations change. The latest version will be published on this page with the updated date.

Continued use of the services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
